One of the "high points" is when Jack and his friend decide to break up a boring conversation by watching CNN, which I guess was kind of new when Clancy wrote this. I give this three stars because Clancy does what he sets out to do (and I ultimately enjoyed it when things finally did happen) but what Clancy sets out to do is more often than not boring and I have a good feeling he really doesn't read much fiction, which is why he writes it so poorly. ”
