“About three quarters of the way through this at the moment. Definitely enjoying it though I have to admit being a bit amused to see that Guy Gavriel Kay doesn't write young teenagers that well. (I kept grinning when he just tacked on culture references in the beginning to make his character seem younger) Don't get me wrong though, it's rather nitpicking to say any part of the book is bad...I've had trouble putting it down a few times.I also had no idea this was sort of/kind of a sequel to The Fionavar Tapestry. Kim is one of the characters. It's made me want to go back and reread because I only vaguely remember what happened to the rest of them.”
