Definitely not a book of his that I would recommend anyone try. Tom Clancy has done far better.” see full review » see other reviews » |

Too much detail that only a military person would care about or understand. Makes for a fast read though. You can skip pages & pages. After the first incident at the beginning, I was half way through the book before anything else happened. Then again at the very end of the book before anything happened. There was an exciting story in there, but could have been told in half the number of pages. Very slow. Certainly not the best Tom Clancy I have read.”

With China and Russia on the verge of having an all-out war, this novels gives us a probable view of what might happen if these two military juggernauts eventually lock horns with each other. The U.S. takes a more nominal role on the side of Russia and China flexes its soon to be superpower muscles in a bid for territorial expansion. Tom Clancy fans will not be disappointed.”

He shows the might of the military in decisive battles, and the military shows what it can do, in a very impressive way! You need to read this!”
