Hug o war is my favorite. I pull out this book whenever I need to laugh or feel like I'm five again. It teaches you to love unconditionally, dream expandingly ( is that a word?), fear nothing, and believe everything.

Not that anyone is likely to read this, but why is Where the Sidewalk Ends posted as "A" Where the Sidewalk Ends? And why are books alphabetized with A and The anyway??!!!

This is such a fun book to read out loud. Some of the humor may be over the head of a toddler but much of it is so enjoyable, from the illustrations to the rhymes to the themes. Lots of choices, none too long, it's a good one for the bedtime shelf.

This is a fun book of poems to read with your little kids or a book that your older kids would enjoy reading on their own. It's a timeless classic and a definite must have!
