Ferdinand is a young bull that lives in Spain. When all the other bulls want to run and fight, Ferdinand wants to just sit quietly and smell the flowers. But when he grows older and the bull fighters come, he is stung by a bee and runs around mad. The bull fighters decide to take him and put him in the fight. But that is not what Ferdinand wants to do. He just sits quietly and smells the flowers in the middle of the bull ring. So they take him back to the pasture and Ferdinand is happy.
