Was one of my faves as a child, and is now one of my son's favorites. He loves the parts where the monkeys tease the peddler... tsk tsk tsk.

One of the first books I remember my mother ever reading to me. I don't credit my mother with much (I admit), but I do credit her with instilling in me a love of books.

I remember quite adoring this book as a kid -- I think because I really liked the illustrations, particularly of the caps themselves.

A band of mischievous monkeys steals every one of a peddler's caps while he takes a nap under a tree. Pre K (ages 3&4). Good for storytimes. Pair with "Whose Hat." Kids can participate.

This too is one that I love and my youngest loves this book so much. They read it in school and did a little project on it too. Such a great book.

My dad read this to me when I was little, and my dad is THE best story reader EVER.

This book is a childhood favorite, it is clever and amusing. This story stands the test of time and is still enjoyed by children today as much as I enjoyed it as a child.
