One of the greatest chidren's books of all time. A celebration of whimsy and childhood and above all imagination. Not to be missed.

I'm sorry, but this book creeps me out - always has. I know this is a very uncool thing to say, but it does; maybe it's the art? Sorry Tony...

I went crazy looking for this to read to my daughter. I remembered the cover and story from when I wasa kid but could not remember the title or anything and my mom was little help. I found it finally and have read it so often to my two girls over the past 13 years you would think I would be tired of it, but no way. It still remains one of my favorites. Who knows, maybe in 13-20 more years, I will be reading it to my grandchildren.

My little girls love for me to read this book to them. They really get a kick out of the pictures of the silly monsters.
