    Quirky Southern romance is what I remember. She seemed to fade very quicky, from being NPR Commentator to nowhere that I know of.

    I read this book because I had read "Sleeping at the starlite motel" but this book was not good. I would not recommend it to anyone.

    This story made me seek out Anthony Trollope's books, for which I am grateful. It was a good, slow book, perfect for vacation!

    White captures the essence of living in extreme rural, extreme south Georgia. She does so by creating a cast of characters that you really want to meet for yourself.
