    An attempt to rekindle the bonds of a past community is important, especially in an era where we lose our identity everytime we log in to a blog or purely superficial social networking site. The Great Good Place outlines many "third places" apart from home, school, and work that are needed for humans inner psychological needs. Try to find one of these places in your area.

    The concept of the "third place" is critical to understanding a successful community. It also helps us retirees who need a place to hang out.
