I'm fairly certain I never read this book as a child. Because, you know, it's about a boy. I felt a general reluctance toward it still.

“I give Farmer Boy 5 stars because it was an entertaining book. My favorite part was when Almonzo, Royal, Eliza Jane, and Alice had to chase Lusy the pig around their yard in order to scrub the candy off her teeth.”
