This one of those books I'm looking forward to sharing with a daughter. My mother and I read all the Little House books together. She'd buy them for me at the start of a family vacation and we'd read them together in the car or at night in the motel.

This is a great book. It takes you back to a time of simplicity, love, making the most out of nothing and morals. Lessens taught and life experiences shared through the eyes of a young girl in a new and unexplored world. Makes you wish that you were Laura Ingalls, experiencing the daily things she called life.
