“When I bought the book, I initially set it down after the first 50 or so pages thinking it was too slow of a read. Later, as I re-read it, I found out the story picks up just a few pages from where I left off. As a fan of nearly any book published out of traditional format (House of Leaves, graphic novels, etc.), I was drawn to the text illustrations representing the conceptual fish. I've read many reviews that say it is a hard book to follow but for me that isn't the case. The book was purely original and unique (minus the retelling of Jaws in the last few pages) and an instant favorite.”
