Anne is a spunky, overly-imaginative, red head orphan, who has a knack for saying way to much, and getting herself into mischief without really trying to. She such a fun character.   “Classic story of an irrepressible orphan adopted by a stern Prince Edward Island brother and sister. She makes many mistakes, gets into a lot of trouble and in time grows to be loved by Marilla and Matthew and into a lovely young woman. Junie B. Jones and Clementine readers will go for this one.
