“When Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert take in a red-haired orphan girl, little do they know how their lives will change. Anne's impulsiveness causes interesting things to happen, but her sincerity and charm make her easy to forgive.”

She makes many mistakes, gets into a lot of trouble and in time grows to be loved by Marilla and Matthew and into a lovely young woman. Junie B. Jones and Clementine readers will go for this one.
