A book trying to explain human knowledge according to the study of the human mind. Hume somehow tries to resolve the problems that Locke's Essay had. Therefore the distinction between ideas and impresions, the senses as sources of knowledge and the absence of necesary relations. The rejection of causality may be one of the most famous conclusions of Hume's book, which also influenced Kant.
