This was the first year that Brother (who was wearing a spooky monster costume) and Sister (who was wearing a ballerina costume) got to go trick or treating without the grown-ups. Instead they went with their friends, Freddy, Lizzy Bruin, and Queenie McBear. Brother and Sister made the trick or treat route on everywhere they were going to stop that night. There was one place the cubs didn't want to even get close to and that was Miz Grizzly's house. People say she is a witch. This is where the theme comes in that looks can be deceiving. The cubs learn a valuable lesson and ends up being completely wrong about Miz Grizzly.
