They provide so little of value to my style of dungeonmastering, but they still save my neck in a pinch when I'm floundering for a way to focus the players on a common goal, or when I need to add a different kind of challenge to the game. Still, this is the least "core" of the Core Rulebooks. I'm pissed off that I use it as much as I do.”

Yes | No“While not per se obligatory, the MM can still come in handy; full with detailed description and beautiful illustrations, it definetely adds a little extra to the world of Dungeons and Dragons.”
