I think overall, the advice in this book is useful and worth taking. As a dietary/lifestyle advice book rather than a diet plan, it's very open and can apply to just about anyone, though it is from the perspective of a female who eats meat and drinks alcohol. There is a bit of arrogance and generalization coming from the writer, and she throws in some misinformed opinions about vegetarians (namely that it's strictly a teenage girl fad, that fish is required [when by definition vegetarians do not consume ANY form of meat], and that she encourages tricking children into eating meat), but the general advice in the book is flexible enough to even be suitable for vegans if taken with a grain of salt. As a strict vegetarian who does not drink, I can say I've definitely seen some benefit even in the past week or so since I've read this, and I've only taken small bits of her advice thus far. I'd suggest reading this to just about anyone, keeping the author's personal biases in mind.
