Description
A man who apparently has a source of income that enables him to spend his afternoons and evenings in a neighborhood tavern befriends an offbeat character who wanders in to get out of the rain, then never really leaves again. They pass the days in unusual ways - working puzzles, building model airplanes, even reading poetry - until the night a kid already drunk or high on drugs comes in and is refused service, resulting in an unexpected ending.
