Hard to read in terms of how Monsanto is controlling and killing world ecology. Very sad, but also very motivating. Vandana Shiva is one of my heroes.

She sets up a very high moral standard for human beings --- bio-altruism. It is our responsibility to protect the biosphere and all the species living on earth because ultimately our survival depends on the biosphere.

I always like Vandana Shiva's perspective on things, and she's a much-needed voice in the age of biopiracy, genetic engineering, and corporate globalization. Her writing is sometimes redundant, though, and full of a lot of assertions without much empiricism to back them up.
