“I read this one second, though it was the first in the series, and found it just as delightfully irreverent and wonderful as Lost in a Good Book.”

I really enjoyed the universe this book is written in. In fact, I believe it is the way the world should be. We should all know, love, embrace, and exist upon literature. My favorite scene in the book was when Thursday goes to a performance of Richard III in which the audience members are the actors and there is audience participation throughout the play. It was amazing to me. I want to live in this world!
I loved the writing. I loved all the mentions of famous works of literature. I loved all the allusions. It is a great idea for a series.
My only complaint is how Thursday's romantic life ended in the book. I wasn't happy about that. But the plot was great, though, the Eyre part of the book was a long time in coming, believe me.
Overall, it was an enjoyable book. :)”
“3.5, really. Fantasy-good, humor-good, storyline-entertaining, language-abysmal. I won't read another in the Tuesday Next series. Right in the middle of the 5th of 8 cd's, wham! go the F-bombs. What was that? I listened to the cd's, but I wouldn't recommend it so you won't be assaulted by the language.”

Delightful and life-affirming - as Evelyn Waugh wrote of P.G. Wodehouse's oeuvre, I paraphrase as cannot remember word for word, they will continue to free readers from a world grown more irksome than our own.”

The Main Character Thursday Next, is part of a special operations for literature and for people who steal or tamper with stories. This book in particular the main character is looking for a person who had played with the story of Jane Eyre. They had changed the ending of the story and Thursday has been assigned to finding the person. The story is so entertaining and funny because there are many supernatural events occurring. ”
