I loved the universe in this book. It is exactly the way the world should be! *laugh*

I have two complaints: 1. I didn't like who she ended up with in the end. and 2. For a book called the Eyre Affair, it was very annoying that the Eyre part didn't come in until the last 1/3 of the book.

Just started this book today. It's been on my bottom shelf for ages. So far, so good. Engaging.

I love this book - I thought it was really original while not too clever for its own good. It's definitely my favourite in the series - I think the later books get too bogged down in the details of the Bookworld.

The idea of being able to jump in and out of literature and meeting your favorite characters---thrilling. It took me a while to get into this book but once I did I really enjoyed myself. Thursday Next is a fantastic character and I look forward to reading more of her adventures. And I want my own Dodo!

I am not a sci fi /fantasy fan so approached this with a bit of trepidation after it was recommended to me but I just loved it! The plays on words and characters he throws in are just so clever you dont want it to end!
