I absolutely adore this book, it was an excellent read. I read it this weekend for the second time and again I was not disappointed. Her characters held their own and I was again caught in Delores Phillips' web!!! Everyone should read this book, you will find yourself in her words!!

This book was great I have recommended it to friends who have also enjoyed it. I agree it would make a good mini series.

I am surprised that this has not been made into a mini-series.

For those of you who loved this book as much as I did; I'd like to recommend two more that I think you will enjoy just as much.

Color Me Butterfly by L. Y. Marlowe

That Mean Old Yesterday by Stacey Patton

Both of these books are a work of art.

It has been a long time. I had heard that she was working on a new novel but that was awhile back. I am looking forward to a new work by Delores Phillips. She did so well with her very first novel.

Also, I would love to know the story behind the cover art. Has anybody read anything that gives a clue as to who the young lady in the photograph is? She reminds me of india.arie.

What did you make of Rozelle Quinn? Product of circumstance, victim of circumstance, abuser, survivor, demon, what? Which of Tangy's siblings' stories did you find most compelling and why? Did you find Tangy to be a reliable narrator?
