“Perfect way to end the series. Some things were expected, some a total surprise. I stayed away from spoilers completely and never read the end of the book first. Took me 14 hours from start to finish (with disruptions from my family!) and I cried so many times over characters that I have come to know so well. DD's history was greatly needed, but a bit more of Harry's parents courtship would have been helpful (lol, what girl doesn't fall for the bad boy...). Snape broke my heart, really really did, his whole life turned out to be heartbreaking with no appreciation right to the end. The epilogue helped ease the ending of the series, and I look forward to fan-fiction to fill in the gap. ”
