I stumbled across this Jersey Girl autobiography and I'm glad I did. Jancee Dunn wrote a fun, freewheeling and refreshing biography that alternates chapters about her life and her profession as a journalist. Favorite parts included: Her description of how to interview a rock band (it involves...

Jancee Dunn is hilarious! We be about the same age, because I remember a lot of the things she writes about. It's as if your best friend from junior high inexplicably landed a job and Rolling Stone and is telling you all about it at the 25-year reunion.

I give it four stars because it was just so much fun to read...made me laugh out loud every few pages. I particularly enjoyed the author's interviewing tips, and the stories about her parents and sisters, all of whom she clearly loves.

Actually, quite a moving story about growing up in New Jersey, and creating a life one could only dream about. Jancee Dunn gives her audience great birds-eye view tales of famous people, all the while, sprinkling in these hilarious anecdotes about her hilarious family. If you're a music lover, a Rolling Stone reader, or just someone who enjoys good writing, I highly recommend this book!

This was a cute book. I liked the small anecdotes about the celebrities. Jancee Dunn certainly has an interesting life. This was a quick read, but it didn't keep my attention the way I expected it to.

I loved the stories in this book, the celeb encounters and so on. But most of all unlike a lot of 'chick lit' she can really write! She had me laughing out loud so many times. The end was a bit slow and predictable and you probably could have cut 10 pages out of it. But overall it's a great bloody funny read.
