This book is great reading for those who wish to know how to do battle...in life or even in digital games...:-) One good thing about digital games is that you don't die...or if you do, you can always restart. This book makes you realize the seriousness of war, the importance of geography, climate, supplies, troop morale, allies, spies, and not being tricked to enter narrow walkways, pathways, entrances, ans rivervalleys (what with snipers and all)...This book emphasizes the importance of a THINKING person in battle.

Are The Art of War, The Prince, and On War mutually exclusive with research, especially research that explores efforts to apply the core concepts in those and other books? What don't I understand? Please help me to understand.

The Art of War has been building audiences both in public and private corporations and mangement schools. I haven't met any good manager without a copy of this great SunTzu work.
