Quite possibly THE worst book I've ever read. After reading Moody's "The Ice Storm" a few years back and adding it to my all-time favorite book list, I picked up his short-story collection expecting the same brillance from the author. Boy, was I wrong. Every story contains characters I either couldn't stand or couldn't differentiate from the last set of characters, or contains language that is extremely obtuse, narrative that rambles on and on with no plot or storyline in sight, or shifts...
