One of the more disappointing books I've read. The book starts out great: a spooky supernatural mystery, the requisite eccentric (and preternaturally gifted) detective, and bodies piling up in the morgue. And it continues strong, with plenty of good twists and turns. But the last section was such a let-down that it really invalidated the earlier strength of the story. Skip this one; the only reason I gave it two stars was because of the great suspense early on.
