Atlantis is an indepth look at the possibilities of beginnings and responsibilities. Religions have developed a method of distracting us from other rhelms of possibilities and this is the one of the few books that open the mind and heart rather than try to dictate an antiquated point of view.

Like most of Cayce's books on one subject, this one is also pieced together from his readings. That makes it somewhat hard to read, since it is basically dictation taken down during his trances. But it is definitely worth reading. Some of this information may sound incredulous, but with Cayce's abilities, it is hard to discount any of it.

Fantastic Information on Atlantis

The trance readings of America's great psychic Edgar Cayce are a font of information on the fabulous world of Atlantis. I like that this book not only delves into Cayce's readings specifically on Atlantis--the 364 series--but also researches the many past-life readings given for individuals who had significant past lives in Atlantis.
Like many other books based on the information in the Cayce readings, such as The Edgar Cayce Handbook for Health Through Drugless Therapy, this book quotes the actual readings and includes the reading numbers. There's also the authors' interpretation of the readings. It is definitely a comprehensive examination of the lost continent.
Author Edgar Evans Cayce is the psychic's youngest son. Past life readings for Edgar Evans revealed previous incarnations in Atlantis when he was familiar with the Great Crystal used to produce power in the Lost Continent. In this lifetime, not surprisingly, Edgar Evans is an engineer. The book refers to readings that say that many of us being born in the earth today, with our fascination for technology, once were Atlanteans.
Since I have memories of my own experiences in Atlantis, which I present in my book, When We Were Gods: Insights on Atlantis, Past Lives, Angelic Beings of Light and Spiritual Awakening, I love this book. It helps to explain some of the amazing scenarios I saw in my hypnosis sessions. My experiences also helped me to better understand Cayce's concepts.
Because Edgar Cayce on Atlantis was first published in 1968, some of the newspaper reports and scientific discoveries cited are dated but this in no way detracts from the wonderful information on Atlantis, Atlanteans, the future rising of Atlantis, the three places on earth where Atlanteans preserved time capsules of their technology, and the marvelous technological wizardry of the Atlanteans.
If you're crazy about Atlantis, this is necessary reading for you.
