Interestingly enough, I loaned this to a friend to read who was a guy, and he was extremely offended by the author's positions. I have a hard time understanding the problems he found with her notes except perhaps that as a male he felt uncomfortable reading about a history of men objectifying the breast and some of the bits of history that note Freud's psychological links between breast and male children. Who knows.
I still think it's great, though. All the sources are cited and the writing style is direct and focused.”
