“It was okay. I generally LOVE Judy Christenberry, but this was a bit . . . meh. It wasn't bad, but it lacked the emotion and fun that usually are present in Christenberry's books. The story was straightforward and you could easily figure out the "secret" in the storyline. There wasn't much romantic tension between the hero and heroine. They pretty much liked each other right from the beginning. A bit of a Misunderstanding went on between them, but compared to other romances, it wasn't that big of a deal.
I would say that if you like Christenberry anyway, and you read fast, that this would not be a bad way to kill a bit of time. But there are far better Christenberry books out there.”
