  • Light Yagami: The original Kira; acts as L and leader of the Japanese task force.
  • Sayu Yagami: Light's younger sister
  • Soichiro Yagami: Light and Sayu's father; is on the Japanese task force
  • Misa Amane: Also known as Misa Misa, and the Second Kira. She's a famous actress in Japan, has an undying love for Light, and posseses the all seeing eyes.
  • Ryuk: A Shinigami who loves red apples and is associated with Misa Amane's Death Note. He enjoys the ways that Light manuvers in his reign of justice and stays around for the fun.
