    yes, especially considering he wrote it in a few weeks, right before his death, because he knew he was dying and broke and wanted to leave a money maker to his soon to be widow and children. i think he did alright by them. amazing he was in debt, but then faulkner and twain always had money problems, too, as did f scott, and they all made tons of it!!!

    I read this (DrJ&Mr.H) many years ago. I only remember the man sneaking around at night and that I liked the book. I will have to dig it out and re-read it.
    KIMMAY-The Picture of Dorian Gray is one of my favorites. I have been trying to get my daughter to read it for years.
