The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

by Robert Louis Stevenson

Well, it wasn't as creepy as i thought it would be. It was still good, though.

I didn't like it that much. I was expecting something deep an creepy, but instead I found it plain and almost weak. It didn't capture my attention at all. I read it because I heard it's a "must read" book but I didn't enjoy it.

yes, especially considering he wrote it in a few weeks, right before his death, because he knew he was dying and broke and wanted to leave a money maker to his soon to be widow and children. i think he did alright by them. amazing he was in debt, but then faulkner and twain always had money problems, too, as did f scott, and they all made tons of it!!!
