I normally like descriptive writing, because as a general rule it enriches your reading experience. This book, however, is a waste of the time it takes to read and the energy required to stay awake while doing so.

currently in the middle of the Brillance audio unabridged cd, which has been an interesting listen. The whole beginning with the Custom House stuff is a little much when you just want to get into the story you recall liking in high school!
