Just when things were going so well.

Jess had the perfect summer planned: She and Fred, lounging in the park, gazing into one another’s eyes and engaging in witty repartee. It was going to be so romantic. The third book about Jess Jordan- a hilarious Britsh girl. In all of these book you get a feel for the charcters and feel as if you know them. I love this serie and you will love it to- if only for the humor of Jess and Fred's relationship. The first two books are Girl, barley 15: Flirting for England and Girl, 15: Charming but Insane.

I read the first three books of Limb's Jess Jordan series, and I just barely finished the third book and couldn't finish the fourth. What started as a very impressive series with witty lines and unconventional narrative becomes increasingly juvenile and tedious to read. However, I will always love the second book because of the trip Jess took with her family. The journey and the scenes along the way were beautifully described and St. Ives has got to be the most beautiful beach town I've ever heard, just by reading the descriptions. The second book appeals to the traveler in me, and I loved it. The sebsequent two books, however, are massive epic FAILS.
