Didn’t Like It“Jess Darling is a typical angsty teen; there is nothing unique or interesting about her character. I liked this book more than just a little... enough that I want to keep reading the rest of the series. But I don't like it as much as I like some other books. It's light and easy and great for that purpose.”

It was difficult to continue to read or care about the character as she moped and lashed out at everyone around her. The addition of the the letters she wrote to her friend Hope added nothing to the story and were not needed. The story just ends with no resolution and leaves me with no desire to read the other books in the series. There was no humor to lift the oppressing rage of a teenage girl. It lacks all the lightness of good chick lit. ”

I recommend this book a lot. It is relatable and well written. Also it is very interesting and is not boring at all. I really liked it, and enjoyed reading it. So if you don't have anything to read, i recommend you picking up sloppy firsts.”
“This was the second time I had read this book in 2002. I had first read it in Junior High at some point, and had it passed around among my friends to read as well. A great teen girl book. ”

And I have a really hard time finding anything like it. There are about 2 books written about people in college, atleast that's about how many I can find. Anyone have any suggestions of other books that are similar to any in this series? I'm desperate.”
