Really not my usual - story told by a young mother of two, living in grad student housing. Dealt with immigration, marriage, parenting, poetry (Walt Whitman theme) and friendship. Mostly it took me back to when my life was closely tied to my neighbors, other young women, and the life we shared. While my life doesn't resemble this any longer, it was fun to re-live those years through this tale. Not total fluff.
