Published in 1985, this title contains 21 tales of sci written during the late 60s/early 70s. My particular favorite is a short story written in 1972 by Harlan Ellison called "In the Barn."

Most of these stories were pointless. A few were interesting. Maybe it's just me, but intergalactic dental hygiene just isn't' that exciting. Every story is prefaced with a note by the Author. Usually I like this, it gives insight into the story and the author. However, here almost every...

Usually I like this, it gives insight into the story and the author. However, here almost every preface was about how he must be a great author despite all the negative reviews since people buy his books. Frankly, your biggest fan shouldn't be in the mirror.

I absolutely LOVE this book! The stories are not amateurish...and how could they be, coming from one of the world's most popular fantasy writers?

This really is one of the better collections of stories that I have read. However, I have probably read each story at least ten times. That just proves how captivating they are. I keep getting more after each reading.

Wonderful book, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different than what is considered the 'norm' these days - very refreshing.
