- Fielding H. Yost: Fielding Yost is perhaps most well-known for his University of Michigan football teams, which were nearly unstoppable. He also left behind a grand legacy as the athletic director, building Yost Field House (today Yost Ice Arena), the Intramural Sports Building, and most notably, Michigan Stadium: The Big House.
