I suppose people might think this is an old fashioned book, a war story with pretty clear good guys and villains, but I loved it I laughed and sniffled, and didn't want it to be over.

    hard to believe a drunken cart driver could have almost as much impact on a village as Hitler/Mussolini, but what a tale! and having known a few AF colonels and Army Gens, i can believe the scene. great book, wish GWB had read it!
