Didn’t Like It“Very weak characters. It shouldn't take 6 pages to decide to kill the killer before he kills you. You've had 300+ pages to realize just how awful he is. Just do it!” see full review » see other reviews » |

The novel is articulated in a simple yet interesting way . The details about ironworks and ship equipments was a bit boring. Wayne's basking in the glorious of his eventful work was hilarious and reminds me of few people in my personal life. Carmen and wayne understanding each other was beautiful highlighted.”

As usual, this novel is populated with solid characters, even the ones with bit parts.”

The dialogue between the characters is great, but the story drags between Carmen and Wayne and Armand and Richie.”

Read it on a boat in the Virgin Islands in various light conditions. It was pretty marvelous. The book itself delivered just the escape reading I was wanting. My first by this master. Now, I'll buy the hardcover for my shelf. Or will this the be the first totally electronic book?”

Such great descriptions of the locales that even if I weren't familiar before, I was after reading. The pace is just right for restless me, and the author sticks with the main plot, and takes the reader through it more faithfully than many writers. ”
