Fans of Elmore Leonard will not be disappointed in this engaging, prohibition era tale of gun molls, gangsters, bank robbers and a brash U.S. Marshall daring all of them to come within a few feet of his grasp. If this were a debut novel by a debut author, it would be rocketing off the shelves for its originality and inventive dialogue.
