I didn't enjoy it quite as much, I found the actions of the two main characters annoyed me. I also felt their lack of ability to communicate for a couple who were apparently so in tune with one kind of untrue as well....” see full review » see other reviews » |

“Fun easy escapist read, CHICK LIT”

I found it predictable and never found any sort of emotional attachment in any of the characters. I found it tedious, and a story that lingered along for over three hundred pages that could have been easily wrapped up in a thirty page short story. I highly do not recommend anyone wasting time on this book.”

Like the other books by Emily Giffin, once I started it, I couldn't put it down. I wanted to see how it all ended. I like how the resolution to the problem faced by the main character, Claudia, is clarified by advice from a character from her previous books. Another good book to read and pass on to your girlfriends!”

But what happens when he changes the rules and decides he wants kids when she doesn't? Is it a deal-breaker? Great read. I'll read anything Emily Giffin writes!”

The main couple seemed so bumbling and unrealistic. It was still a cute story and I like books that take place in Manhattan, which this one did.”

Not sure if it is because of my personal realtiaonship status, or the fact that my friend said I was like Claudia, who ended up really bugging me...but I ended up skimming ahead 5 chapters just to reach the end of the book - I needed closure!”

Successful and happily married they have decided that they don't wish to have children. Things go awry when one of this happy twosome realizes that maybe they do want children after all. What happens to a couple who make a commitment to each other and one has a change of heart makes for an interesting look at the changes we are and aren't willing to make for love. "Baby Proof" was so different than the other 3 by Emily Griffin. It starts slow and drags on. Maybe it's the development of the characters and the issues that they are dealing with, but this is my least favorite of her books. ”
