While this is a "children's book" it is by no means childish. Tolkien writes sheer magic, the battle of good and evil. I loved it so much I married a Hobbit.

    While searching for books tagged "epic fantasy", I do have to say that this book is rather not-so-epic (especially in the light of The Lord of the Rings, or the even more epic Silmarillion)

    This is probably the first book book I remember ever reading and I haven't been able to stop since. I read this book so many times my copy feel apart. The story is amazing and introduced me to a whole new world of writing.
