Description edit see section history

The legions are on the move as Caesar battles for the Devil's domain. It was one of those days in Hell when Brutus showed up in Julius Caesar's household, seventeen and not remembering a thing about that little scene on the Ides of March. Well, that's Hell for you...

Characters edit see section history

  • Dante Alighieri: English: poet, author of the Inferno.
  • Julius Caesar: Caius Julius Caesar. Latin: dictator of Rome but never was Emperor. He was assassinated on the Ides of March (March 15) 44 B.C. by a faction of the nobility who ostensibly feared he would establish a monarchy, but diminution of aristocratic privilege may have been an equal motive: Julius was more noted for his revolutionary activities on behalf of commons' rights than for assumption of monarchial powers.
  • Augustus: Caius Julius Caesar Octavianus Augustus, born Gaius Octavius, Julius Caesar's adopted son (actually his grand-nephew). He was the first Emperor of Rome.
  • Niccolo Machiavelli: Italian: author of The Prince, supporter of Cesare Borgia.
