Madison presents an incredibly thorough collection of vegetarian recipes, tips and suggestions that should be in the kitchen of every cook.”

  “A friend whose cooking I admire told me this was her favorite cookbook and sent me a recipe for crookneck squash soup to try. Wow, it was great. I spent the rest of the summer renewing this book from the library, trying recipes for whatever was most bountiful in the garden, and enjoying the results. Marvelous, realistic recipes with sensitivity to keeping the fats low. This summer I have my own copy!”
