“Who knew the book would be better than the movie? Lots of things in here would have been amazing to see on the big screen.”
“i found it”
“Okay I've got to ask. Does anybody like the book better then the movie? I like the film more, BUT I really enjoyed the book. There was so much more, that there would be no way of making the movie with all of it in there, it would have ended up be a 5-6 hour film. One thing I was dreading about the book was, all of Malcolm's speaking parts, I love to hear Jeff Goldblum speak, so it was very enjoyable for me in the film. I was a bit optimistic, of how Crichton would write Malcolm's part. I was pleasantly surprised. It's like he wrote Ian Malcolm with Goldblum in mind. I loved the book, but being born in 83' and being 10 when the film hit the theaters, the movie has a special spot in my hear that it can always call home. Jurassic Park was my first Crichton book. I didn't even get half way through it when I rushed out after reading the summery for Next. I picked it up on it's first week on the bestsellers list. BUT I will be reading Lost World first and then Next. So, anybody else feel the same of the film and the book as me?”
