One of Crichton's better heavily-researched thrillers. Very exciting and suspenseful. Pretty far-fetched, but I like science fiction. This book is what I expect from him.

Worst book that I have ever read so far. You know how being kept in the dark and surprised is a good thing? This one does it SO much that it's a bad thing. A good book does that while revealing pieces of information as it progresses; this rarely does. It's completely repetitive when it comes to the mystery of what's going to happen or what is happening.

Perhaps it gets better at the halfway point. Why don't I know this? It was that bad of a struggle for me to read that I quit.

Did not love it. Crichton could have done so much better with the idea of nanotechnology. Definite slide from his classics like Sphere and Andromeda
