“I loved this book because it was written by King Edward the VIII himself and give a very personal warm, and blameless account of his life with divorcee that he so deeply loved that he gave up his throne. I liked him. He was an extraordinary person and just wanted to be a normal person, not a king. Even Kings can have unhappy lives though it would appear they have everything, the basic elements of life are lost to them. I never felt before that I would "miss" the person that was brought to life for me on the book pages but I will definitely miss The King! If you love history and especially hystory of the royals, you will love this book.”
