This book is really good. Raspberry Hill is a 13 year old girl who seems to love money. She stole from her friend zora and her neighbor Ms.Evelyn. Raspberry's father was a crack head and he stole from her which is not cool at all. Raspberry helped her a dad all the time but all he did was beg her for money or steal from her. Her mother was beat in the head by a girl named Miracle because Miracle claimed the mother was always in her business. Raspberry ended up getting with her crush and her and her mom got a nice house in Pecan Laandings and were finally out of section eight.

I just finished this book. I believe this book was a good read, it was below my level i must say. It was a good read because it helped you see all the things that are really going on in the world and really made you think about how lucky some people are including yourself. This book is inspirational and revolutionary. I think this book really helps you seperation between high and low class.
In this story a young girl name Rasberry Hill has to face the challenge of living with just her mom and living in a poor income neighborhood. Although Rasberry and her mother try and live as best as they can nothing every comes a good. In the very beginning of the storywhile Rasberry's mother is trying to reason with a locsl hoodrat she is hit over the head with a medal pipe and ends up in the hospital. While shes in there Rasberry stays with her best friend Zora. After Rasberry decides to steal money from Zora one day their friendship becomes remotely damaged and is lost until the very end when Rasberry repeatidly apologizes to Zora says good-bye to new friends and becomes the girl of the one and only Sato.
